Junior Programs - train, compete, succeed!
The Townsville Monsoons Junior Representative Program was first established in 2023, with one U19 Boys and one U19 Girls team competing at the Volleyball Queensland Junior State Championships.
Since then, our program has grown significantly. In 2024, we proudly sent four teams to compete at VQ Junior State Champs:
- U17 Boys (Div 2)
- U19 Boys (Div 1 & Div 2)
- U19 Girls (Div 1)
We remain committed to developing young athletes and expanding opportunities for juniors to compete at a high level. In 2025, we hope to continue this growth and provide even more athletes with the chance to represent Monsoons on the state stage.

Representative Selection Eligibility Criteria
The club has established a set of defined qualifying criteria for the selection of representative athletes.
These criteria are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and equitable distribution of opportunities and resources to allow all athletes a fair opportunity to participate and represent the Monsoons Representative Programs.

U19 Girls – Division 1 → 4th Place
2024 – Volleyball Queensland Junior State Championships (Gold Coast)

🥉 U19 Boys – Division 1 → 3rd Place
