Welcome to the second round of the 2025 Great Barrier Reef Challenge on June 19-21, 2026! We are excited to welcome you to Townsville.

We are offering the following divisions:
- Social 3s - Friday
- Pairs: women's, men's, mixed (Div 1/2) - Saturday
- Fours: women's, men's, mixed (Div 1/2) - Sunday
*Please note, we may have to collapse Div 1/2 divisions into an "open" division if there are not enough nominations for each division.

PLEASE NOTE: All players on each team must register individually. The cost per athlete per division is $25. Nominations will close on 14 June 2025.

PaediaTricKs is an Occupational Therapy practice that for 20 years has been helping children with their learning activities, including handwriting, reading, fine and gross motor skills, play, development, attention/concentration and behaviour management.

We welcome clients on the NDIS, and Medicare plans including Better Access to Mental Health and Enhanced Primary Care plans (EPC)/Chronic Disease Management Plans (CDM) Team Care Arrangements (TCA).
 
We provide comprehensive assessment, treatment (individual, group and home therapy programs) and consultation and reports.
 
As well as conducting sessions at our safe and friendly clinic, we can do home based therapy, school/kindy visits and community access visits.
 
We can also see adult NDIS clients for music, daily living, social and literacy skills.

Terms and conditions

  • 1. **Duty team penalties:** Penalties for lack of duty members at the start of or during a match, or late arrival of duty teams by more than five minutes, may result in the loss of three tournament points. Teams penalized under this rule will be notified after the match has been completed.

    2. **Outstanding club fees:** Players or teams with outstanding fees owed to Northern Monsoons Volleyball Inc. may be denied registration, participation, or court access until all outstanding fees are paid or an approved payment arrangement has been made. This decision will be made at the discretion of Northern Monsoons Volleyball Inc. club officials.

    3. **Finals eligibility:** A player must be available to take the court for at least 50% of their team’s pool matches to be eligible to participate in finals.

    4. **Player registration and eligibility:** All players must be registered and approved prior to taking the court. Teams may not field unregistered or ineligible players. Breaches may result in match forfeiture, loss of tournament points, or removal from the competition at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

    5. **Substitute players:** Substitute players may only be used with approval from the Tournament Director. Substitute players must meet all registration and eligibility requirements before taking the court.

    6. **Code of conduct:** All players, coaches, officials, spectators, and team representatives are expected to behave respectfully toward referees, opposition teams, volunteers, event staff, and spectators. Abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in penalties, removal from the venue, suspension, or disqualification from the tournament.

    7. **Injury and medical risk:** All players participate at their own risk. Northern Monsoons Volleyball Inc., its members, volunteers, officials, and representatives will not be held responsible for any injuries, medical expenses, loss, damage, or associated costs incurred as a result of participation in the tournament.

    8. **Match scheduling and forfeits:** Teams are responsible for checking the draw and being ready to play at their scheduled match time. Teams that are not ready to take the court within five minutes of the scheduled start time may forfeit the match, unless otherwise determined by the Tournament Director.

    9. **Draw changes:** Northern Monsoons Volleyball Inc. reserves the right to amend the draw, match times, divisions, format, or finals structure where required due to team numbers, weather, venue requirements, delays, or other operational considerations.

    10. **Weather and venue conditions:** Matches may be delayed, shortened, relocated, rescheduled, or cancelled due to unsafe weather, venue conditions, or other safety concerns. Decisions regarding safety and playability will be made by the Tournament Director or nominated event officials.

    11. **Disputes and protests:** Any disputes or protests that arise during a match must be referred to the Northern Monsoons Volleyball Inc. Tournament Director for immediate resolution. Protests should be raised promptly and respectfully.

    12. **Final authority:** The interpretation and decisions of the Northern Monsoons Volleyball Inc. Tournament Director will be final on all matters covered in these rules, including any matters not specifically addressed within these terms and conditions.
